Show Gratitude for Your Neighbor

#GratitudeAndYou #AttitudeOfGratitude #JoyTrigger
You're saving lives when you support our work! Thank you for making such a huge difference!
Each donation is helping victims break free from the grip of domestic violence and sexual assault during this time of need.  Your financial gift will help survivors find safety, heal, & become self-sufficient.

GRATITUDE CAMPAIGN

We're trying to encourage the practice of positivity and raise funds that we desperately need to operate Beacon of Hope Crisis Center at this time.  Please help and join us by giving a supportive financial gift and receiving a Gratitude Bullet Journal gift in return.

The COVID-19 crisis is extremely dangerous for America’s most vulnerable populations, including victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Advocates are diligently working and we need your help to continue to address the needs of survivors during this time of uncertainty and heightened danger.  While the nation is urged to stay home to prevent the spread of this disease, we are starkly reminded that “home” is typically an unsafe place for victims and their children. Shelters and victim service organizations are now grappling with the unprecedented challenge of providing communal housing and services for survivors, just as the public health crisis requires distance and separation.

We need increased flexible emergency funding for our agency to remain operational and to continue providing all of our services via telework advocacy and telehealth counseling to serve victims of domestic violence and sexual assault crimes.  The lives of those we serve depend on your swift, urgent support of our agency.

Beacon of Hope Crisis Center is a confidential and safe place where individuals who are or have been a victim of domestic violence and/or sexual assault can receive advocacy services and referrals.  Our advocates assist with safety planning and let victims know what is available for them within our agency or one of our agency partner service providers.  We assist in many ways, a few of those ways are helping with protective order filings, victim compensation and other paperwork, court accompaniment, helping to find a bed in a domestic violence shelter when that is needed, fostering pets while victim(s) are in shelter, helping with the healing process, counseling, steps toward independence and self-sufficiency for long-term improved quality of life.
