We have re-branded our agency and have integrated the lotus flower into our logo because of what it represents. The lotus flower is often associated with domestic violence and sexual assault and with purity, healing and enlightenment. This sense of purity arises from how it grows. It begins in muddy water, rises above it and turns into a beautiful flower that reaches light/enlightenment, the lotus flower is a symbol of strength, healing, purity, perseverance, promise and enlightenment.
We have chosen a color palate that has significant representation to our work. The hue of purple represents the color for domestic violence. The hue of teal represents the color for sexual assault violence. The hue of orange represents the color for teen dating violence. These are areas of major focus throughout our services and programs offered here at Beacon of Hope Crisis Center.
