What is a Gratitude Journal?
Gratitude journaling is the habit of recording and reflecting on things  that you are grateful for on a regular basis. In essence, you are rewiring your brain to focus more on the positive aspects of your life and build up resilience against negative situations. Keeping a gratitude journal is a popular practice in positive psychology - the scientific study of happiness. It’s commonly also referred to as “counting your blessings” or “three good things.”

The Benefit of a Gratitude Journal

How to Do It:

There’s no wrong way to keep a gratitude journal, but here are some tips to help you get started!
  • Write down three to five things for which you feel grateful. The physical act of writing is an important step.
  • Add things large and small, but be specific.
  • Try getting started by writing about a good event, experience, person, or thing in your life.
  • Enjoy taking this moment from your daily routine to reflect on the things that bring you joy.

Take it A Step Further:

Start noting what you are grateful for in a bullet journal. This is a unique way to feel grateful and productive as we get tasks completed and reach goals.

What is A Bullet Journal?
This  is a practice of mindfulness and productivity. It is designed to keep you organized and in touch with the world around you.

The goal is to organize tasks, to-do lists, and  other thoughts in a creative way. Writing your thoughts will help you stay focused and adding an element of gratitude will make it even better. A bullet gratitude journal is a visual for the many things you accomplish in a week along with reminders of your favorite moments, people, events, etc.
